Government Medical College Anantnag completed five (05) years of existence. From the first batch (2019) of MBS students who have joined this institution in the year 2019, it has now grown to five batches of 500 MBBS students, DNB residents, Senior & Junior residents, Interns, Nursing & paramedical students.
The institute imparts quality education by implementing new CBME guidelines of NMC (2019).
The academic section of any medical college is the administrative backbone to the various training programs imparted by the institution including student affairs, curriculum development, research, training and innovation in medical education.
There is a formal set of rules & regulations (Code of conduct) to ensure equal, just & fair governance and opportunities to the students. These rules evolve to address the needs of the hour and are essential for tracking any changes.
The academic section manages the core academic activities while ensuring high quality standards & SOP’s. it is the custodian of syllabus, statues, training schedules, planners, etc.
A team of a dedicated staff looks after administrative aspects of academics activities of the institution.
