Government Medical College, Anantnag, J&K.

The Department of Biochemistry like other Departments started its teaching work from 1st of August 2019. Since its inception the Department has managed to get almost all the facilities and is still in the process of procuring additional facilities. As such the facilities available in the Department are sufficient for teaching and research activities and we are hopeful to provide the best available facilities to the students (viz MBBS, DNB, PG, MLT courses etc.) so that they will be able to compete at national and international level. The department is presently having the dedicated and highly qualified teaching staff capable of carrying out quality research on their own. Presently there is one Assistant professor and four Tutor’s in the Department.

Along with the capability to carry out quality research work, the Department has all the facilities to carry out the practical work for MBBS, DNB, PG and MLT courses..
